Laura Falk is a Research Informatics Programmer Analyst with over 15 years of experience working with large, longitudinal datasets. She previously worked with the National Park Service on long-term water inventory and monitoring efforts, focusing on data collection, data management, and hydrologic analysis.

After earning an M.S. in Data Science, she joined the University of Arizona’s CoVHORT research group as a data scientist, where she contributed to large-scale COVID-19 research through data management, reporting, and analytics.

In her current role, she designs and maintains research informatics infrastructure, supporting data pipelines, databases, and analytics for clinical and biomedical research.

In her free time she swaps her computer screen for a small hobby farm.
