Feruz Oripov
Graduate Research Assistant
Feruz Oripov is pursuing a master’s degree in software engineering at the University of Arizona. He currently works as a Graduate Research Assistant in Dr. Shravan Aras’s team, contributing to research projects that explore how wearable sensor devices can be leveraged to address challenges in healthcare. Feruz joined the Center for Biomedical Informatics and Biostatistics (CB2) in August 2025. Prior to that, he worked as a student software developer at the BIO5 Institute. He is particularly interested in applying his software engineering expertise and industry experience to advance academic research in data-driven and health-focused applications.
